The Challenge

Motta International, a globally recognized holding in distribution, logistics, and retail, had multiple ERP systems in place—some outdated and operating in separate instances. Over time, these systems could no longer meet the group’s evolving needs, which prompted to look for a change. They commissioned us a unified solution and requested a Software Evaluation and Selection Assessment to help identify which world-class ERP best suited their needs.

The Solution

  • The key to success was understanding how Motta International operated. We designed a project to analyze both the company’s processes and its technological ecosystem. With this information, we developed an “As Is” management model.

    After understanding the business’s complexities, operations, and locations, we assessed the current model and identified the needs. We compared two world-class ERP options using a multidimensional evaluation model tailored to Motta’s reality.

    This analysis not only led to a software adoption recommendation but also provided a set of concrete actions for implementation.

The Outcome

As a result of the Software Evaluation and Selection Assessment, Motta gained objective, well-supported insights into which ERP was the most suitable for their needs. They also received a roadmap of actions to be executed before ERP adoption.
